July 2006 Monthly Meeting

Ken Roko, a consultant for The Facade Group, Inc., will discuss the preliminary results of an ongoing BEC study. The main goal of this study is to shed light on current issues regarding sealant adhesion and compatibility with peel and stick membranes. Fourteen different membranes have been sent to various manufacturers such as Dow Corning, Tremco, and GE Silicones to conduct compatibility and adhesion testing. This will be an interactive discussion of the preliminary results and the study's direction as it applies to the industry's concerns.
