June 2011 Monthly Meeting

For the June monthly meeting Mike Schilling from Snyder Roofing will be talking about two advanced roofing topics from the applicator's perspective. One of the bigger innovations in low slope asphalt ply roofing over the past few years has been in the development of liquid flashings. Mike will talk about the different material types currently on the market as well as why and where these materials are being used and where not to use them. Electric Field Vector Mapping (EFVM) is a topic that has been addressed at the Portland BEC in the past but Mark will add some installer insight to this quality assurance and leak detection technology.
